Frequently asked questions
When considering purchasing a car outside the EU, it is essential to consult with your government or relevant authorities regarding the regulations and requirements for importing and registering a new vehicle. They can provide specific guidance on the necessary steps, documentation, and any additional fees or taxes involved. It is advisable to inquire about the process of registering a new car with a Certificate of Conformity (CoC) document, as this document plays a crucial role in demonstrating compliance with safety and environmental standards.
Buying an HMC Classic is simple. We only sell fully completed vehicles that are already built and available for purchase. This means each car is sold as an existing finished vehicle rather than being made to order. If you are interested in one of our available cars, please contact us by phone at +46 709 320269, by email at hmc@handmadecars.se, or via the contact form on our website. We will be happy to inform you about current availability and assist you throughout the purchase process.
The HMC Classic is equipped with both a rear and side exhaust system due to design flexibility and customer preferences. The type-approved exhaust system is located at the rear of the vehicle. The exhaust system on the sides, often referred to as side pipes, is not connected to the main exhaust system. This design feature allows customers to choose whether they prefer the classic look of side pipes or a cleaner rear exhaust configuration. Customers have the option to select the HMC Classic with or without side pipes based on their personal preference.
The HMC Classic features the type-approved LT1 engine from GM, which has been selected by HMC for its performance and compatibility with the vehicle. As for future engine options, we remain open to exploring new possibilities and advancements. We will continue to assess and evaluate potential engine choices to ensure that the HMC Classic delivers optimal performance and meets the evolving needs of our customers.
Delivery times for HMC Classic vehicles may vary depending on factors such as supplier availability, transport logistics, and other circumstances. However, HMC only sells vehicles that have already been fully manufactured and are ready for delivery. This means that delivery times are generally shorter and depend mainly on final logistics and shipping arrangements.
